Hercules subsidiary secures £6.5m in power network contracts

Hercules has confirmed that its specialist energy division, Advantage NRG, has secured £6.5 million in new contracted work across the UK power sector, with all projects scheduled for delivery during 2026. The work falls under existing framework agreements with major network operators, including Electricity North West and Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, giving the group clear revenue visibility and forward workload.

Advantage NRG supplies skilled linesmen for high‑voltage overhead transmission line construction and maintenance. The new contracts will require up to 52 operatives at peak times, showing the group’s ability to scale quickly and meet technical demand. =

The full-year delivery timeline from January to December 2026 supports Hercules’ strategy of building out a predictable pipeline of activity in the energy infrastructure space. These awards reduce short‑term revenue risk while keeping the business aligned with long-term investment trends in UK electricity transmission. As national infrastructure programmes ramp up, particularly in energy resilience and capacity, Hercules is well positioned to benefit through its embedded role in key frameworks.
